thoughts from the bull... because i lack the knowledge to properly critique the song, i would defer to what Craft is saying here, as well. pizzicato hits are typically used as accents within a composition, from what i know about classical music. hearing them throughout the entire piece is an interesting approach, but it does seem to limit the emotional impactfulness overall. i think the idea of a synth pad or an unusual synth lead might lend itself nicely, especially if brought in about 1/4 of the way through. and once again, this is set up perfectly for some vocal waxing. any plans on that? just curious!
