Description:
I originally recorded this piece to try out the guitar amp sounds in garageband. It's the second song I have made, the first was soley garageband loops. With this one I edited some of the notes in the piano and bass and added a few bits to the drums. I messed around with the guitar setttings until I found something that seemed to fit ;-) I looped the main guitar part and improvised the last bit. Way too much reverb ;-) Hope you like it.

Very nice guitar work! &mdash 02/12/04 - 11:52:07 AM
I really like your guitar playing, especially in the last parts. The first guitar line
ends a bit abrupt. Also, I think your song would really benefit if you had at
least one harmonically different part, maybe even with different rhythm.

I agree. Good guitar work, good sound. Maybe I'd set some of the
instruments's sound levels a bit differently, but it's a minor complaint.

Thanks for the positive comments. I've been thinking it needed something
more in terms of a different part as suggested. I also agree that some of the
levels on certain tracks could benefit from an adjustment. Maybe some EQ?
Oh, no, more effects! My poor old G4 500 is barely keeping up as it is ;-)

Great guitar &mdash 02/20/04 - 11:35:22 AM
Yeah, I agree with the group. Nice guitar, altho the reverb
is really thick at the end. I like drums louder on songs
like this, with maybe more fills ever now and then to drive
it forward. But great job.
