80's? This sounds very 80's to me like it could have been in the Top Gun soundtrack the theme to an 80's TV show. It's definately the keyboards that give it that feel for me. I kind of agree on some of the comments about percussion. they sound very "Casio" like. Great melody, though. Check out my latest song called Anlagapalooza - Pedal to the Metal

Dharma Logos
When I commented on your last song I said you reminded me of Satriani. This one is much more Vai sounding. Granted it is nowhere near as complex as anything by Vai, but it has a similar attitude and feel. Your legato guitar work is perfection. (Something I felt your previous song was lacking.) All of the keyboard stuff is very pretty and emotional. But change that god-awful percussion! It has an interesting sound, but it's so repetitive it sounds like the tick-tock of a clock. Some annoyance in an otherwise beautiful song.
