Description:
I didn't actually score any video but I wanted to write some opening credit music. Let me know what you think!

well done! &mdash 06/14/07 - 06:56:49 PM
I'm impressed! This conjures up some vivid mental pictures for me. I'm not sure what you had in mind, but I'm thinking a movie based on a Tom Clancy novel...a cold winter in Moscow, spies, intrigue, etc. Anyway, great job. Very authentic!

that's really good. i love everything about it; you should be scoring films. funny thing: my friend scores a lot of stuff and he tells me he's getting sick of people wanting him to knock-off existing classical pieces (particularly Debussy). great work.

I agree... &mdash 06/14/07 - 09:24:38 PM
It happens to often in film scoring when the composer will borrow themes or melodies they didn't write.

guess that's what happens when things become public domain. i think the entire beatles catalog is about to go public domain in england; considering moving there, rewriting the lyrics and then re-releasing it all under my own name. :)

nice &mdash 06/20/07 - 10:27:39 AM
Sounds like an overture to a horror movie. Love the strings and the variety of instruments used.

suspense, mystery and... possibilities.

Very nicely done, Jefferson.

And it is *open* to all sorts of possibilities for an interesting opening. It even has a somewhat subdued Danny Elfman feel to it in parts. ;)

Very well done! Sort of Hitchcockian(Bernard Herrman) in tone and temperment!
