Great fun... I like the structure of this, and very enjoyable composition... and excellent playing (I assume you are playing this live... please add more information about the equipment you used in your description!) There are some other great pianists/composers here on Macjams that you will enjoy meeting. I'll try to send them over here to listen.

exciting playing. Very well done, and written. Do you have this written out? I'm off to listen to your other movements - I really like this!
Like Drak, I'd love to know more about how you recorded this. [ Reply to This ]
hi! &mdash 06/17/07 - 05:20:33 PM
Hi!
Yes, this is written out in Sibelius (music notation prg) and recorded through a mp3 with this program as well. I am studying the piece as good as I canon my piano so I can make a very good recording. I don't like the recording as it is, but it isn't bad at the same time. You can find the sheet music here:

thanks for listening!

Sonata No. 1 &mdash 06/18/07 - 08:41:28 AM
Welcome to MacJams. We have a REAL pianist in our midst now! This is superbly played and quite exciting to listen to. You keep up elements of your theme extremely well throughout and it is a delight to hear the various sequences of this material. Ending was awfully abrupt...
I hope you will continuing refining this number as it is full of excitement. I'll be looking forward to hearing more of your work here. This is a wonderful place to share music of all kinds, and we definitely need more classical musicians like yourself.
Peace.

hi! &mdash 06/19/07 - 03:33:13 AM
Hi Paul,
I have some more music tht I want to put up here. I already uploaded the last part of my 1st symphony, an computer recording though... I had 2 different endings for the first part of my piano sonata and like this one the best. At the moment, I am working on the last movement, wish I had more time; with my job, the writing goes almost by 10 bars a day.

Excellent strokes. Aggressive yet delicate. Reminiscent of a silent movie action scene yet contemporary in its passion and momentum. I wish you success! I hope to sing for you soon. [ Reply to This ]
