Description:
I am a big fan of the cello, with its mellow and soulful tone.
This is a classical piece called "Allegro" from Concerto for Two Cellos, by Antonio Vivaldi.
I am also originally from Houston, TX, which has a small underground hip-hop scene.
Several years ago, DJ Screw pioneered a new genre of rap music called "screwed and chopped" in downtown Houston, or "H-Town" if you're gangsta.(:-))
The actual definition of "screwed and chopped" taken from the rap dictionary is:
"adjective;
screwed and chopped
Slowed down versions of rap songs, made popular by DJ Screw. Apparently influenced by the consumption of "lean", cough syrup mixed with sprite, which could understandably slow down one's perception of things."
Anyways, I grabbed the free loops that BeatHive gave us and "screwed" Allegro.
