Your sound is as superb as we've come to expect - amazingly well recorded acoustic guitar. To say that "you play very very well" will always be an understatement.
Thanks my friend - enjoy summer!

Great sound... &mdash 06/18/07 - 07:38:48 AM
...and a truly fine improvisation.

Those Pearse strings are really fine, aren't they? So warm and rich.

Yes I dig them. Most of all because the are something between nylon and steel. And yet works for a nylon string guitar.

Think that also the stomp is contributing a lot to the warm sound.

Great sound, sensitive playing, expansive mood, soulful (a word I use a lot in reference to your playing), inspired, inspiring ... wonderful!

This has that quality... &mdash 06/18/07 - 08:08:13 PM
I used to enjoy while sitting around at the Wood & Strings Music Center listening to someone like Rick Cyge get a bit quiet and introverted and really improvise something... especially on a snowy day... We'd fill a coffee urn with cider to heat it up and whoever was in the mood would play...

This feels like you could be right next to me playing... there are unexpected twists and turns.... it doesn't feel "all worked out"... it feels like you're taking a walk and not sure where you'll end up...wandering with purpose, with the purpose being to truly let oneself wander...

Okay. Back to eBay to scout AG Stomps again...

This is amazing - such great playing, and such a sweet, haunting melodic piece of music. The sound is crystal, ringing and resonant, and your touch is outstanding. I am in awe. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

No one... &mdash 06/20/07 - 10:02:16 AM
... I would rather listen to playing guitar than C. Anders. Your improvisation here is delicate, subtle, and as always... superbly played. Thanks for this piece of music.

I've downloaded this and... &mdash 06/20/07 - 04:49:44 PM
... been listening to it on iTunes. I must have heard it 3 times over by now it's great (and calming) to listen to whilst I'm trying to get some paperwork finished! It sure ranges about, there are moments when I'm getting bits that sound reminiscent of The End by the Doors! Sometimes it gets a bit funky but mostly it's a bit like staring out on a gentle summer sea watching the skies change, sailboats go by and the occasional jetski or powerboat whizz past!

Fine work

impressionist guitar &mdash 06/23/07 - 07:48:53 AM
Hey Curry... it's a bit stream of consciousness... as though we get a chance to listen to what comes out your fingers while your mind is elswhere... some times I'll sit and play while watching TV... and I'll find things that I wouldn't if I was paying attention... I really dug the disonent little slides and as always ... much respect from my neck of the woods

Just right.. &mdash 06/24/07 - 09:01:19 AM
..for a Sunday morning, with the rain coming down and a coffee in hand, trying to figure out what to do next.

That's what I'm doing right now - this is playing and it's setting me up for the day. Nice one!

It also reminds me of Christmas. It invokes many different moods, that's the sign of a tune that will last.....

Thanks for sharing,

Jim

Nice feel &mdash 06/29/07 - 11:53:40 AM
I'm really impressed that you can write beautiful worked out songs and improvise in a very heartfelt and musical way. Many Finger style guitarists rarely or never improvise.I don't get the impression that you are concerned with showing off at all.
Nice work!

Sound that bowstring colors.
The shape of beauty is seen.
