If only folks could hear the ho hum tracks I sent you originally. I simply can not believe you were able to fashion this from what I sent!!! Its like night and day. You have made Chevas from kool air dude! Granted the Kool aid was a fun jam, but this mix is HUGE Hector. It brings the track to a whole notha level. I love it.

Hey Guys
Great groove and I agree with KTB the production is top notch. Hector are you mic'ing or DI'ing your bass. As a non bass player I find it the hardest instrument to get a clear sound and you've got the touch. Any info you could shed would be greatly appreciated.

When it comes to laying down bass tracks I only use Fender Basses. I especially love recording with my 50th anniversary Precision Bass. I go directly into my M-Box then I mix down the track using the GarageBand software.

I continue to really enjoy the groove confections that you two come up with... Love the mix, too... the wide drum and percussion spread that collapses at one point is interesting and works...

Fantastic keys John - I'd just love to be able to do that (and you can probably read the little black dots too). Can't fault this - just tight, interesting and very cool! Great sound.

Sweet intro! The bass sounds great and your timing is spot-on! I like that you kept the bass prominent in the mix, it's driving the whole track. KTB's crazy keys could adequately be described as - let me see - AWESOME?
