The Sound of Men Weeping

Description
This is pretty much the first song I've done using mostly MIDI. Its a work in progress, but I thought I could get some feedback. To me it kind of feels like a funeral almost, with the choir in the background, but instead of feeling http://www.macjams.com/song/32809extremely sad, it feels almost happy, and seeing as men get less sad when people die, I think the title fits the music nicely.

UPDATE: 6/18/07

Thanks for all the comments guys! I've been working really hard on the song today and I'm almost done with the instruments. I should have a rough track up in the next few days. Thanks!

Midi
I did an all Midi song one time. I had fun. But I enjoy playing guitars and bass. Sounds like you have a good hold on the midi thing. Besides. Im with you. Just about everything I post here is a demo and work in progress. So keep at it.

You have a potential winner here!
You could do a lot with this. I think it's sadly beautiful for lack of a better term. I would like to hear more. Awesome melody and structure. Thanks for sharing!

Looking forward to seeing ..
.. where this ends up going George. A very nice mix with some excellent possibilities. Doing things in midi seems (to me at least) to be a serious challenge - congratulations on getting something that sounds this good on your first try.
