Hmmmm, I am of the altern8 generation. I grew up pounding the shit out of my ears with Domin8 etc. I think the tension of the track starts out really well, but I was expecting some tougher beats, since you state hardcore elements in the description. THe beat is how ever very trancy and, thus, works like a mofo with the synths. Love the highly pitched female vocalstab. Did you efxor the beat but left out the fx on the handclap? It didn't bother me at all, but I noticed the gritty beat and the clear clap, and it could be done conscious choice or (as in my case happens most of the times) I forgot to....and thought f* it, it works!

Good mature breakbeat tune, enjoyed alot

I loved Altern8 (Watch the bassbins I'm tellin' ya). This track was in that same vein, with the ruff beats and bass, but it was mainly the chipmuck vocals which also made the hardcore comment. Most of the track is a case of 'fu*k it, it works'. Its a lazy but stress free ideaology I have with most of my tracks. It depends on the track.
