Description:
A couple of years ago I wrote a series of 30 voluntaries for pipe organ. The idea was to write some short service music that was easily accessible to organists with limited resources—i.e. not too difficult; capable of playing without using the pedal; useful for preludes or postludes... NO. 30 is the last in the series. While the "organ" I chose is digital, some fiddling (no pun intended) with reverb and timbre helped ratchet up the overall quality of the sound. It is a short piece (2:30). I hope you'll listen through to the end. That is, of course, where the entire number leads.Lyrics:
