Description:
I have been listening to a lot of American folk music lately and this song is my first attempt to compose my own Folk Song.
I used Finale Songwriter software, by MakeMusic, Inc., to compose this song note for note.
This is a huge departure for me in terms of songwriting because all of my prior music is riff based from the guitar.
I had to approach this song and write out the parts for all instruments.
I used Reason adapted for Pro Tools to created the drums, but my goal is to record this song with real drums soon.
This is definitely a work in progress and YOUR FEEDBACK will directly effect where this song goes.

it is an unique blend of old world and new.
so many varying layers of sound... best heard on headphones.

Rock On California!
I just listened to this song again and I realized that the timing a little off between the Cello and the backline (drums, bass, and guitar).
I will try to fix it, but this version will stay up so I can get some feedback from my fellow MacJammers.

LOVE IT . The malandholi, You got it in this -not too much not to little, just perfect:) Hope & beleive You'll take this & hopefully more 'foksongs' far !)wouldn't sit wrong with awhiskey to this as we say in swedich ! Thanks for a very pleasent & lovely song,coulda been longer . //Lena
