Keywords:
bibanova (24)prosperine (2)temazepam (1)particledots (21) ()
Description:
I began work on this on a summer day at my sisters house in the Shropshire countryside (on one of my all too infrequent trips 'home') and finished it 18 months later half way across the world in Arizona.

Over that time period, I obtained extra contributions from Prosperine (the voice and words - via Skype) and from Howard Patterson (the lovely melodic keyboard part).

Whilst I was in the UK, Rob Shaw helped with the bassline and some of the glitchy beats and my friend Brian (Dr Rock) contributed the 'father' choir which came from a song of his of the same name.

Hardware:
computers, mics, voices, synths

Really nice Bryn, a lovely clean production and cool "vocals".

Do you do production lessons ;-)

Cheers

Great little melody. While my production on my last 2 written songs
have taken a nosedive. Your production seems to get better!!
I need to take a class in production. I still feel Im missing something.
This song is a great lesson in production, and song writing!!

Pure Chill &mdash 06/24/07 - 12:03:10 AM
Love your choice of samples, the bleepy, tingling sounds panning around playfully. Certainly paid off plugging in my good headphones! Great mix, very high standard. The balance of the various elements is remarkable, shows your musical experience. The vocals blend perfectly and the reverb adn echoes are just right. Do you program that all yourself or do you pick samples/lopps? Lots of good things, and I could go on. I'd expect this kind of quality on a commercail chill-out compilation, but to come across it on MJ is both a compliment to this site a refreshing electronic cocktail for any time of the day!

Temazepam hum .... &mdash 06/24/07 - 12:16:04 PM
... yes a nice little muscle relaxant in this one ... it has that "Enigma" feel to it ... I think it's the vocal track that makes me think of Enigma.

Hey I recognise that guy in the artwork! &mdash 09/13/07 - 09:23:10 PM
Yeah that dude is a line manager at Royal Mail where I 'work'. This tune is chilled. Phaaaaat bass ( take it up in the mix maybe?) Groovy. Be lucky.
