pretty synthy washes &mdash 06/23/07 - 04:38:19 PM
Fun stuff... I like the interweaving of bit-crushed synths and rich piano sounds, very nice interlude. It is too small an area though, it seemed like I was flying across area 10 and suddenly it was over, just as I was enjoying the view! Oh well, you whetted my appetite for more. Thanks!

Drakonis

Hi Bernd....I've never used loops...they sound intriguing....Ah!...if I only had more time! I really enjoyed this one. Always good to hear from you.

I was not online for a long time, so please apologize for my late reaction...

I was not a friend of loops, but when I got my apple, I had no keyboard to connect and was so curious about GB, that I tried to use loops.

And now I see them as some raw material, nice to discover, change and play (in a child's way) with.

Don't want to miss them anymore...

Thank you for listening and your kind comment.

Greetings,

Bernd

I've always &mdash 07/22/07 - 01:20:51 PM
found the bitcrusher intrigueing but never found a proper use for it. You have! At times this could be good old Tangerine Dream (e.g. the section above the symbols for Attribution and Non-commercial and near the end...), which is a good thing. Still I must agree with Drakonis that there is a certain air of "sketch" over it. It could "easily" be made longer without loosing concentration, and maybe some of the shifts(?) could be worked on a little, I don't know. But it was a very enjoyable listen, as always from you!

Interesting contrast &mdash 08/12/07 - 01:11:53 AM
Raw synth sounds (great use of that bitcrusher) and sweet natural piano sounds.

The structure of this is simple, based on some catchy hooks, but it flows well. And catchy hooks are not easy to write at all.

Victor.

the structure is quiet simple, don't wanted to put more in it, just a short area to think different.

Thank you for your appreciated comments!

gentle morning &mdash 08/12/07 - 01:22:44 AM
First track i listened to on sunday, and a nice way to be woken up. i like the gentle throb of the synths, which then give way to the piano, which works wonderfully. I could have lisened to this song twice as long - nice work.
