A breif moment of Tarantas, a flamenco form for improvisation or composition, I am just putting down a few ideas, as this is fairly new territory for me.

I believe this form originated in the songs of miners in Spain. I believe there can be know greater pain found than in working in a mine, the darkness, the danger, the trying difficulty in the hardness of the work. [ Reply to This ]

Not bad for winging it Ian. Now you can take the best ideas from this more-or-less spontaneous outburst and fashion them into a structured piece. Funny what comes to (through?) us in these less guarded moments, huh?
