LIOLI challenge #1 (3)
Description:
my 1st entry in the LIOLI challenges. I just like to drink mint tea in a desert setting, this brought BurningMan to my mind, just imagine being on the plaza at sunset, with drummers and fire dancers all around you, drinking mint and mushroom tea....

Great track - really has that Eastern 'feel'. I love the dessert loop. I tried to do the same on my entry http://www.macjams.com/song/32561 but I think that yours succeeds more. Although I feel that the end is a bit abrupt.
Cheers

other direction wtih another loop heard after desert flute. very nice and smooth. I like the Castonets and taking us to the desert in this one. The only comment would be that it ended too abruptly.
anyway like the desert arabia feel. (mine took me to africa)
Its great what everyone comes up with. Fun to listen to everyone's version. They are all good.

Great openness to this one &mdash 07/01/07 - 08:58:45 PM
the percussion midway through really widens the space. Welcome to LIOLI - you seem to have a knack for this - thanks for posting and participating.

riding a motorcycle through the desert as post-apocalyptic camels wander aimlessly through the blowing sands. The abrupt ending? That's when a metal-gloved hand punches through the sand from below, and the story begins...

Okay, I swear I'm laying off this much coffee. Really.

Love your entry. Great job.
