splosh
Dark and trippy and unsettling (though I mean that in a good way!) Certainly a great backdrop to what's sploshing against my window right now.

Yep!
Excellent laid-back vibe JoJo - perfect for heading to bed for the night. Like the fx on the vox, and the sound bed is really good.
Peace,
Neil

My my...
One could drown in the furthest depths of goodness on this.

Man, you guys are trolling the deepest places of being - It is especially reflected in that low riding synth bass -

And I didn't get that this was dark as much as it is intensly, real.

Wish I knew who did what, but this is just a matter of a bit of research, I guess. Just wanted to offer up the appropriate acknowledgement, and to whom it belongs.

Whoever is singing it: you are talented behond what should be for free.

Whoever is beatn' it: you have to be one seriously cool, soul.

The keys and synth work, is appropriatley, other wordly.

Whoever produced and arranged it, I wanna be like you when I grow up.

Bow 'til it hurts, y'all!

Thanks! Macca

Smashing stuff
I always enjoy what you do (and who wouldn't?) the whole treatment is so-o-o professional and the vocals and the treatment of those is so in keeping with the 'mysterious'/'out of the norm' sound. Really professional! M

I'm torn...
...about the vocal, because I really love it, and want it up a notch or two so I can pick out the words more clearly, BUT at this level the vocal works on an almost subliminal level, as one of the instruments, and has its own spookiness...

Rising up from time to time to something that reminds me of what I loved in early SlimGirlFat recordings...

The really deep bass figure is phenomenal... And the drum beat brings in a touch of jazz and funk in one go...

Really like that photo, too...

Cool one, folks...

Just aces
Great growly production, offset by the sweet, sweet vocals. this reminds me a bit of Massive attack, it's that good. Top notch melodies, this is just a great song - well done to all of you, this is a gritty, dark, sultry little beast that sits in the corner flirting with you.

Love it.

good nuff..
to deserve all the masssive/portis comparisons...what's really gripping about your voice is that while it is powerfully female it reaches beyond that into a command that sort of transcends the typical pretty voc. singer...it's a subtle but very potent thing. whoever is manning yr beats and the production are brute beauty...really lovely and deep in the cut.

Brilliant
Dark and pensive, yet deep and funky at the same time. Love how your voice fits so well into all your material, regardless of the crazy effects that are thrown on top, partly due to the confident vocal performance and attitude the oozes over the lyrics.
