Description:
A crunchy piece of indie pop/rock in the vein of the New Pornographers, a dash of They Might be Giants, well, you'll just have to hear it to know

Lyrics:
You are the switch and I am just a fuse (verse)
That brings a connection to the cord
Energy stored within your batteries
Why do you need much more?

Remember the night you wanted to give away electric light
To the ones with mirrored eyes who look at telephone poles
to catch the midnight sunrise

Well, give 'em a jump, give 'em a jolt (pre-chorus)
Give 'em a shock that they'll never forget
A flick of the switch, and when it begins
No one will ever need power again...

The days are short and the nights are long (chorus)
And I cannot convince 'em that they are wrong
But we can play 'em all an electric song(x2)

G#m C#m Bmaj
What about the people living one-way lives, head in ground?
G#m C#m Bmaj
How do they survive on disconnected spite, and their frowns
G B B7
Don't worry 'bout them, 'cause when their static gathers in the clouds
G B B7
They'll be overwhelmed, and their negative energy....

Will give 'em a jump, give 'em a jolt
Give 'em a shock that they'll never forget
A flick of the switch, and when it begins
No one will ever need power again..

The days are short and the nights are long (chorus)
And I cannot convince 'em that they are wrong
But we can play 'em all an electric song(x2)

its definitely a song worthy of a live performance. i don't know if it's just you or you have a band, but this is stage fit.

Its good to hear actual Indie Rock in the Indie Rock section of this Website. Good Job sounds fantastic, reminds me of early Flaming Lips and could easily fit in the Saddle Creek Records lineup. I also commend you for being able to use Logic Pro correctly. I always cringe when someone drops a crap ton of money on Logic Pro and don't know how to use it even if their life depended on it.
