Some interesting things happening here. Years ago, when I worked in the radio business, I used to play around with "slapback echo" using an open reel tape machine ... sometimes two of them. The cool thing about slapback was that as it was fed back into the tape machine, it lost quality and the whole thing would morph as the echos came back. It was a fun way to spend some time.
