One of my favorite all timer songs is Kathy's Song by Paul Simon. Yours is a classic, solid pop ballad, very well written. I like the live feel, the open mic intimate authenticity; but I'd also like to hear crisper vocals, something less condensed with less mids. The overall track is also kind of soft and could use volume pushing (limiting, compression). Very solid writing and a warm soulful performance.
