Lyrics
peace be with you, peace be with me. my good intentions got the best of me. I don't want nothing that I can't keep - its a sad contention that it runs so deep

the wine is flowing but the money's tight. I'll take your handout, but it don't feel right. my back is beggin' for a break today - my heart is hungry but my hands won't pray

I'll make it but the pain is strong
I'll fake it if it takes too long
I'll shake it with the A Minor Walkdown Blues

my chest is sunken - my body aches
here's my donation, if that's what it takes
my head's a furnace and my brain's on fire
I'd tell the truth but I'm a goddamn liar

I'll make it but the pain is strong
I'll fake it if it takes too long
I'll shake it with the A Minor Walkdown Blues

let me take this moment, while I have the chance - I'd like to say I'm sorry - in advance. I'll take it with me and I'll cop my plea. my misdemeaner stays a mystery.

I'll make it but the pain is strong
I'll fake it if it takes too long
I'll shake it with the A Minor Walkdown Blues

Blues?
Not any usual blues of course but Brian D blues. In your own brilliant style.
Fantastic - great sounding guitars, excellent vocals, song-writing craft and professional production.
Obviously downloaded.
Cheers
Len

spot on
just great song writing. petty-esque, fab guitars and big huge sing along chorus's. Your vocal really spins on a dime for this one.

Intriguing lyric
Great song writing as usual, but the lyric is blowing my mind. What is the mysterious misdemeaner Mr. Brian? Oh never mind, go play with your iPhone.

thanks royboy
thanks, roy. I don't have an iPhone yet. I am getting a free one, though. Steve is giving all employees a free 8GB one. I was pretty stunned. I wasn't even gonna get one! Not yet, anyway..........

My misdemeanor? I have no idea! whatever you want it to be! I've been dealing with this herniated neck disk thing for ages and I was just whining in Am!

thanks again!

rub it in
We caught wind of the deal. Well us vendors will have to scrounge ours up the old fashioned way. Chris'siPhone is awesome so you folks at the company that shall not be named keep up the good work.

And you keep posting those songs. I started a thread called most songs in a year because I'd thought you were on fire. But there are others writing a lot of music. Amazing to us regular folk who eek out a song a year...maybe.

Everything
Is good in this tune. There is a real funkyness to your rhythm and lead guitar, excellent singing. Overall production reminds me a little of CSNY.
