Lyrics:
I look, for youbut find only your ghost
your spiced, perfume
Lingers in the air
your garden is dying, you left all your clothes
there’s all of these memories, but no note
chorus:
Mary, Mary where have you gone
Mary, Mary, why are you so invisible, so invisible
this rose I kept for you is turning black
the petals fall off in my hand
why are you so invisible
your garden is dying, you left all your clothes, there’s all of these memories
calling, I’m calling...
Mary...
Mary...
falling from my hands...
rap
No way
I cannot lie
I’m slowly dying
And I don't know why
Drowning
No coming up for air
And I
Just want to be left there
They claim they know me
Who I'm supposed to be
A quick fix sure remedy
Is the right thing for me
Like a grain on the beach. Like a star in the sky
Far too many to count with the naked eye
They won't see you… Go ahead…Walk on by
I don't know… I should open my eyes
I’m alive but you don't know me
You look to me but you can’t feel me
I’m losing the taste… I force it down
Tiny visions adding up! I’m going underground
Mary where are you? My time is ending
I miss you so much… you are spending
Our time with foolish games
Killing my internal flames
chorus
this rose I kept for you is turning black
the petals fall off in my hand
why are you so invisible

This is top notch class. Very very professional in every aspect. Could easily be a hit record. I am nowhere near qualified to find any fault at all with this. I just like it A LOT. Well done everyone concerned. Fantastic.
Cheers

I was astounded and extremely flattered when Craft
invited me to try some guitars for this. It was very
challenging to find something that was 'me' that could
blend with Craft's style and his intricate and unusual/interesting melodies...so for Gawd sake don't ask me the chords ..I have no idea what I played...
and next time, can I have one that starts after "1,2,3,4"! ..sheesh .. lol. Having heard a few versions of this of course I'm quite accustomed to it .. so this is kind-of a side note to Craft/Phillip .. I really liked how the ending shaped up, with the dropping out things approach. I also really think Steve did a fantastic job on bringing us all home with his great soulful singing line and lyrics that really carries the song. I also recall noticing a huge jump up in overall quality in the first mastering stage/final mix version I heard, which I now (I didn't know) can gather was the talents of Philip 'behind the scenes' at work, great job...
and needless to say, thanks to Craft's great solid foundation and vision (and I so dig that fast rapping bit before the solo :o)), we had a grand platform and opportunity to explore this mix of styles and talents.
Pleasure fellas.

this is great! really a stellar job by all!
such a wonderful, ecletic blend of styles here.
it is very catchy, infectious even.
instant fav, instant download!!!
outstanding!!!!
in an Arto- Lindsay-genre-warping way! Great smash up of styles, and far and away my favorite Craft track ever. I have no idea how this developed, but from here it looks like the definition of successful collabs: unrelated styles mixing it up to produce a song none of the players could have done on his own. If the ratings were enabled on this, I'd give it 10's across the board....... Excellent!
Wow, nice job guys.

in every aspect - lyrically, musically, and production-wise. This has a great, professional sound, with a terrific combination of cool sounds and nice, image-laden lyrics. The vocal is top notch, the rapping blends seamlessly ands the guitar work is great. Outstanding work all round. Sweet. Peace.

CHAINS!!! INcredible Collabo, great job! All around production is SOLID, singing is great vocally, and Craft just ripped it! Much props, congrat's on this one!

Phil is working with me on a track, and mentioned this thankfully, otherwise i may have missed this ... and I would've been gutted. this is a fantastuc piece on all counts. Spikes vocals faultless as ever, lovely guitar playing, stuffed full o' hooklines, and the production .... phil, i may have been wrong about the right-panned drums, 'cause it really works on this! The mix and mastering are pro-quality man, outstanding!
Wonderful work on all fronts ... a hit!

Hay guys,
It was a pleasure to work on this song with you. It's a great blend of styles. Beautiful rap, singing, guitar and synth work. Thanks! Great collab!
What a PROduction here...Infectious groove in an incredibly clean mix. Very good lyrics sung in a vox that puts me in mind of the old Canadian band SPIRIT OF THE WEST. I wish ALL "hip hop" sounded like this!
One Fab collab me boys!
Be well!

A seamless collab. Very funky track. Great talent all around. The mastering is perfect. Nice song all around.

I was married for seven years to a women named Mary. After we divorced, we were best buddies. She is no longer in my life. After we lost contact, I refused to allow my mind to ponder anything about my time with her. It hurt. I think about her all the time, now, and I wonder where she is, and how she's doing.
The beat hypnotically steps me in w/o thought...
Alan's acoustic strums away the outer surface - soulfully messy at times...
There's the sound of disillusionment being hosted by this crazy disorienting, but right-on synth work...
Steve's soulful delivery carries me to his 'painfully leading', fade out, and invites Antonio's mindful and heartfelt rapping to gracefully escort my emotions, even further...
This is a trip that thus far, I'd been successful at not taking.
But then, Alan's heart ripping solo, completely tore me open.
Damn!
And the whole of it all, took me down, but not without a bit of grace and huge amounts of talents and skill.
You guys just made a serious mess... Thank you. Macca
Macaudion
Obviously, it was nicely mixed, and mastered!

I just love music!

what a line up. And yet it all works with out anyone gumming up the overall excellent flavor. Its got such a hip taste all it own. Like a new genre. All the vocals shine, and Alan's guitar is HUGE and ON. Kudo'son the mix, Philip. What a challenge to mix all these stellar elements into what works so well.
great mix on this eveything sounds just right You guys have a good thing going here! Realy like the guitar lead on this. Excellent!!!!!!!!!

Fab intro - is the acoustic just a wee bit high in the mix? On the hookline 'Mary' I'd personally soften the vocal attack. But hey... fuck it. This is quality. Ow.... it sounds like Peter Lorre on the voice- over very cool. Why are you so invisible ? Not for long pal. Be lucky.
