Beat... I don't think there is a gold standard for a trance beat, but i think i would add a more powerful base drum and have a bit of change in the cymbals/hihats. It sounds very tribal in my opinion. I think it just needs to be a techno beat. But I'm just one guy, and there are several trance artists such as cirrus that have really gotten non-techno beats to work in trance, and very well at that. Other tracks? great! Cheers for input Thank you for your input, you are probably right however I don't really have any proper techno beats (I will have to find some) and the only beats I have are gated and they did not mix well with the track when I tried them. By the way the Kristal Audio Engine is only a basic sequencer, it does have some good features, but there are not many, such as you can have vst fx but not vst instruments. I am hoping to upgrade everything when I get a better computer, a Midi+keyboard. Check out my latest song called Space Program (Space Race 2009)

The concept is good. The low modulating synth is a brave move, but the beat somehow doesn't suit the synths in my mind. The synths sound good though. It could use some atmospheric support, like a vox pad or something. The part near the ending is cool. :D Good to see another artist in trance.
