This sounds GREAT!!! You took advice on vocal mixing. Very good. Always let the listener adjust the "treble" volume. This is great all around, Hat's off to you two!

Excellent vocals, great choice and mix of instruments.

I particularly like your short phrases with pauses, very catchy!

Nice treatment of piano.

Poetic lyrics.

Only one suggestion: The strings could use just a tad more reverb when they're by themselves, like at the beginning. The cut-offs sound a little chopped to my ears, anyway, but the strings sound fine when combined with everything else.

All in all, excellent song and I'm glad that you called attention to it in MJ chat.

Dig the back up vocals on this.. Very clear recording the mix on this is out standing! Great lyrics. My only advice is to try not to force the vocals.. Try to deliver them like it is coming out for the first time. Only my opinion realy good song!

Hey, Great work. I especially like the chorus. Nice melody. Like the short bursts of lyrics, concise and tight. Agree about the reverb on the strings comment. Also like the vocal overbud-overlays towards the end. Beautiful tune.

following really works very well .. those pauses ..

this is a great poppy tune - the production is really crisp, great backing vocals and a fantastic main vox - the chorus is excellent.
