Very nice tuneage &mdash 07/03/07 - 09:39:16 PM
Nice melody. The mix needs a little tweaking to my ears. The Keys should be just a little lower than the rhythm guitar. That would also bring the fine vocals up where they can be better heard (as they deserve to be). But don't get me wrong. I like this a lot. But I would adjust the mix and repost.

Be well friend!

Very mellow, as you say, and very dreamy. It has a really nice feel. Any chance you could post the lyrics, and tell us who the singer is? Nice singing, by the way, although I think the Magi -- sorry, I mean A Magi -- may have a good suggestion regarding the mix... making the vocals more easily heard seems like a good idea.

I was curious as to why you brought in your percussion when you did (shakers, I guess)... I kept expecting something like that to come in sooner, since it started with layering textures, but when it didn't come in I figured it wasn't going to.

Anyway, very very nice job here!

your right &mdash 07/04/07 - 11:15:32 AM
I am getting really frustrated with the mixing capabilities of garageband.
My friend larry and I wrote this song for a performance in San Francisco about 3 months ago.
He is the one singing.
Also, contrary to my arguing, the shakers wereput where they are.

lovely smooth melody and very pleasant vocals. to post the lyrics would be great. english isn't my mother tongue and i'm little struggling to understand. VERY pleasant listening again. maybe i would leave the last tone to dissapear, except to cut it so suddenly. but i really like it. lovely tune. ta ta paja

What a find &mdash 07/04/07 - 06:00:17 PM
Dr. T - this is just great. Although the mix could be tweaked, the vocals (which are utterly fantastic and lovely) work will low in the mix ... reminds me of early REM production - you strain to hear them more because they are low. First track I've heard from you, but this is really special - moody and sweet, with great lo-fi textures.

i'm a fan.

Steve
