Description:
She Dances Alone was a piece written awhile ago. A rainy day alone in my room working on harmonies and this idea came about. I wanted to finish this piece but never got around to it, just like most pieces I do. Oh well, that’s my goal is to always finish the things I start.

This was the time I met my now best friend in the whole world.

Lyrics:
Making my way now
I walk through the crowds
Watching her moving
She moves through the light.

Watching her dance all alone,
Watching her dance alone…

A very enjoyable song.... &mdash 07/04/07 - 03:27:12 PM
I always look forward to Legato music.

This is a lovely, well put together piece of music.

Simple but very effective.

Take care.

Paul.

Thanks Paul for taking the time to listen. I wanted to take a whack at singing some harmonies and came up with this piece. I like the piano melody and stuck with it. Glad you enjoyed it.

Take care,
Patrick

mellow and quite pleasant &mdash 07/04/07 - 06:54:11 PM
Very good concept and choice of sounds here.

The mix was nicely-balanced. The vocals were well handled; good performance and recording.

The opening chords reminded me a bit of Jobim's music, and in fact, the whole song had whisps of his flavor.

Nice length, almost meditative. Dreamy quality.

The fade-out ending seemed just slightly quick.

This was quite pleasant to listen to on this very hot summer day. Great job!

I have not heard of Jobim's music before, perhaps you may have a link I can check out. Thanks for the listen always appreciate it. By the way I meant to ask you, do you have a harp at home? How many instruments do you play? Just curious...

Take care and thank you

now you're talkin'. This is classy... really... I love the piano, wonderful playing. So smooth, I can visualise a dreamlike sequence in a stage show. M

Movis, thanks for the taking the time to listen-I really appreciate it. As for the piano I really enjoy it very much! You’ll notice most of the pieces I play are very similar; dreamy, easy on the ears and smooth listening. Try out my piece (The voice of suburbia) http://www.macjams.com/song/6425 very smooth and dreamy.

Take care and thanks fir the comments
