ROCK ON FOLK
Ian what a great music is this ..
the scale is very nice and the background music is very good too with this tone ..
it's not your style that i've heard .. but still you're the master of the guitar and this one sounds like Feter's style .. It's one of my favorite at MJ ..
Thanks for posting .. very enjoyable ..

NOTE : Why don't you put it at FOLK genre ???

Yeman,...
Thank you, I am glad you liked this one. It sounds different in style because, while much of my guitar education from Spain is rooted in this, I now have my guitar education from my Sikh Instructor from the University of New Dheli, India that I studied with in California, in this piece, aside from some early folk guitar education I had before going to Spain. Yes you are right, I should put it in the Folk genre, I am so used to chosing Instrumental, though I accidentally put acoustic. I will change that.

Thank You Feter...
I am so happy you liked this, bhoopali is such a beautiful raga. As for the touch, I hope I am paying tribute to the gracious wisdom of the instructor from India, by portraying enchanted forests, with hindu goddess, and flute players by streams. Such a beautiful dream to one day see such a place, as it may have existed long ago, if not here surely once before, upon another planet.

Almost...
...like an Indian version of the Grateful Dead's "Ripple"...Very pretty. A little different from your usual fare Ian...but just as palatable.

Be well bro!

Thanks Mike,...
I found Ripple on the net:

such a nice song. Thank you, again, I really like The Grateful Dead. I didn't know this song. When I think of them, I think of Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away. Love that Song. I don't know why I am not familiar with all their music, it really is wonderful. I can see with this new direction I am taking these days, I should really open my ear to all their music, as they are acoustic with a flavor I am really attracted to. Their acoustic sound is so nice, especially in the mixture of guitar and mandolin. But alas, World music is pulling me stronger into India, than they may be, so I see what you mean. Though, they do seem to carry an Indian philosphy. I seem to be a mixture of Sikh Temple Music, and Guzals (Indian Romantic Music) with a Flamenco approach, whereas they are a mixture of the spiritual and Popular, from an American folk approach. I am glad you turned me on to this. This all gets me thinking I might need to start singing.
