A great production... &mdash 07/07/07 - 06:44:37 AM
Hey Patrick

This is another great-sounding production. I enjoy how you vary what you do in your musical world. It all seems to fit together and make for interesting listening and imagining on my part.

Take care.

Paul.

Paul thanks always for taking the time to listen, appreciate it. As far as the musical variance thanks for the comment. I'm not sure if it was meant with this piece or in Legato's style-please clarify :)

Take care and looking forward to your next piece.

Terrific &mdash 07/07/07 - 06:57:44 AM
This very lush, love the flute sound mixed in with the synth strings. Nice creative ideas here in the accenting piano going in scale and the added trills. Great combination of the conventional piano and synth.

Cool, love that second movement-what a treat! Cool beats with a slight touch of spain! Love the softness of this, your using percussion very delightfully in my opinion.

A treat!

Way to go!

Thanks for stoping by... &mdash 07/09/07 - 10:35:26 PM
Tiler thanks for listening in. Your comments are always appreciated. The piano imho is a great instrument to be complimented with synths. My favorite artist in this genre is Vangelis. He seems to always find the right combination of sounds that mesh very well.

The 2nd piece, I’m glad you liked it.

Take care,
Patrick

What a talent... &mdash 07/07/07 - 05:43:21 PM
You just own this New Age/Soundtrack style; it sounds so effortless and free and natural.

This is a lovely piece of songwriting. I love the tension and resolution of the first part of this; those chord progressions are so rich and beautiful.

The end credits contrasts nicely and sets a great motion to the set.

Just beautiful! :)
Thank you.

Sweet... &mdash 07/09/07 - 10:42:41 PM
Thanks Cat! I get this way of mainly writing in this genre because it relaxes me, and also in many ways it is just like me-relaxed (mellow) I recently purchased the FantomX8 by Roland for my new project with Knossos (see song http://www.macjams.com/song/29076) but is also great for writing in this style; smooth pads and textures I can loose myself with. Now it is time to do some serious writing for the Lord, which in time I will call for you and your lovely voice :)

Thanks again for the listen and take care,
Patrick

What a great one is this ??? &mdash 07/13/07 - 04:08:12 PM
first : i'm speechless for this great melody .. what i'll say is really not enough to describe what this music is !
It's great and full of feelings .. i liked the changing from the minor melody into the new major with drums and the happiness tune ..
Very great job you do .. Legato this is the 1st thing i've heard it of yours .. i'll try to hear more ..
This one is really remembered me Richard Clyderman's Tune or musics .. same style .. REALLY GREAT ONE and it's one of the bests i've heard it here at MJ ..
Nice to hear it in the evening !!!
Thanks so much for the posting and keep up your good work ..
Wish to accept me as a new friend and hear my music

Yeman, thanks for the listen and the wonderful comments, I sincerely appreciate them. Richard Clyderman’s music is awesome, my girl friend and I were listening to him play which is wonderful by the way-we were amazed. Thanks for the recommendation! I hear you are quite the talent on guitar. I will have to listen soon and I am sure we’ll become friends soon!

Take care,
Patrick
