Another great piece of music.... &mdash 07/08/07 - 04:38:03 AM
This piece seemed to have more of an improvisational edge to it but was still great listening. The occasional hesitation? made for pleasant phrasing.
I'm glad that your brother left you to it, in his studio.
Take care.

It has been so nice to receive feedback from people that have taken the time to let you know you were heard. I thought I had replied to you earlier but it did not show up. I apologize if you are getting 5 messages from me. Thank you so much Paul. I respect your opinion very much. Keep up the music! [ Reply to This ]

saying goodbye &mdash 07/11/07 - 07:53:35 PM
Thank you for listening. I appreciate your kind comments. I was playing an Ensoniq keyboard and to be honest, I have no idea what other type of equipment my brother has set up in his small studio. But I know if I ever do this again, I will pay closer attention. : ) [ Reply to This ]

How kind of you to take the time to post your comment. Piano music has always been very soothing for me as well. I have many hectic days where nothing else but music makes me feels better. I'm glad this song helped make you smile. Thanks for listening. [ Reply to This ]
oddly &mdash 07/14/07 - 10:58:15 PM
i envision a scene from a movie near a cliff on the water with this as the backdrop music and no words... just music... maybe a scene where a person is remembering something
there seems to be a somber reflective quality you captured here.
to me, it's really a vivid image... and an absolutely beautiful one.
really breathtaking playing to a wonderful piece! [ Reply to This ]
great description of my thoughts &mdash 07/15/07 - 06:44:49 PM
I have those type of thoughts all the time when I play piano or listen to relaxing music. I am a hopeless romantic, you know... where the white horse always shows up at the end and rescues the fair maiden, or the girl just jumps off the cliff! Then the sobbing begins! lol....Seriously, thank you for listening and commenting on the song. I appreciate your compliments. It is very encouraging for me and I am humbled once again. Thank you. I am honored by your words and know that your son must be very proud of you. Thank you for being so kind to listen and compliment on the music. [ Reply to This ]
Ahh... &mdash 08/25/07 - 11:56:53 PM
This is exactly the kind of music I love to relax to. I definitely hear that yearning for someone you get when you have to say goodbye to them, and yet it's not entirely hopeless either. Beautifully played. [ Reply to This ]

A song without words... &mdash 09/09/07 - 09:02:27 PM
If a wordless song EVER spoke eloquently, this would be it. Every note is precise; every rubato is well-thought-out; every ounce of this number speaks eloquently. It is truly a blessing to hear such sincere music that is uncomplicated by unnecessary filigree. At this, I am%u2026speechless.

exceptional &mdash 10/04/07 - 12:08:10 AM
Beautiful piece again. The emotion you feel is translated to the piano keys. I don't think you are just playing the notes. You are loving them so to speak. Some of the great painters in history could paint so that you could see the emotion was right there on the tip of the brush with every stroke and this was translated right to the canvas. Not everyone can play like that and you play very well. [ Reply to This ]

goodbye? &mdash 10/06/07 - 03:37:12 PM
or a restructured hello... :)
As with many other commentors I get distinct images listening to this piece. Seems as if the piano "speaks". I'm in no position to offer advise or criticism so i'll just sit back and relax and enjoy your music. [ Reply to This ]

You got such an amazing grace with the piano. As someone who merely tinkers on the instrument, you make it sound incredibly fluid and easy.
I admire your skill and this piece, in particular, is wonderful.

Saying goodbye. &mdash 06/17/08 - 05:04:46 AM
Wow !! I could just imagine the guy walking away slowely to get on the plane and his girlfreind waving goodbye with a tear in her eye and waving her hanky in a film. You know the way that they do.:)
Or the opposite a loving Daugher with a tear in her eye holding the hand of her aged mother at her dying bedside.
Gail You Rock!! Go girl!! Love the piano chords on this one.
