Description:
There are quite a few things that this tune brings to mind for me:

A train journey home, a helicopter ride from a war zone, travelling home from work after a hard day, sad monotony, etc..

I don't envisage continuing with this theme as far as the music is concerned.

I can hear this as the back drop for transitional moment in a movie. Nice mix. Thanks for sharing.

In a small way, yes..... &mdash 07/10/07 - 02:26:28 PM
In a small way I hear the same thing. It's really an idea for something bigger (and better played), that could be the actual recording for a soundtrack.

I'm moving towards doing this type of music as a main interest, as there are no real 'genres' for this type of music, just 'ambience' and being in keeping and true to the stories' theme.

I appreciate your listening and leaving a comment.

Take care.

Paul.

very nice.i know what you mean about moving in this direction as a "main interest." i feel like this shows a lot of emotion, it's like listening to you quietly thinking while walking down the street. great job.

as far as "ambience" goes, for something different, check out the records by "stars of the lid" and "the dead texan"

Thanks for listening and leaving a comment or two Michael.

I'll check out those two artists you mention. One of the things I love about MJ's is the diverse multiplicity of 'everything' and the helpful nature of Macjammers. And of course the new directions that someone's helpful hint or suggestion might transport me.

The emotion of this piece effected me in the production/playing of the music. I just love the developing or growing sounds and the transitions of sound. It makes me very happy to do this type of evolving music, although the evolution of these sounds was constrained, so as not to make it too 'weird', even for me.

Take care.

Paul.
