Description:
Hello,everybody.
nice to meet you!!
I am a high school student in Japan.
I am 16 years old now.
It is a birthday of 17 years old soon.
I post the song for the first time on Mac jam.
The guitar play is "Tadashi Togawa" of MacJamar.
Thank you very much.
I used Greek and Sanskrit for the prelude and the finale.
When you can enjoy it, I am glad.
"Dream rainbow"
Writing and composition/YsaeK
Guitar play/Tadashi Togawa
The introductory chapter and the closing chapter are
Greek and Sanskrit.
This chapter is Japanese.
Lyrics:
"Dream rainbow"
I expand its iris wing.
"One of wings is quietly folded."
To the sky that shines to seven colors.
"To the sky where it disappears."
I am believed a vague word, and flap.
It is a dream that cannot be gripped indefinitely.
It put it away in the dark.
"memory of recalling, and disappearing at once"
Tomorrow.
Surely at some time.
"reality that doesn't reach even if reaching it"
I draw and erase it.
I am had a nightmare.
Please already stop a vague lie.
And, please look at me.
It is a dream of not giving it up indefinitely.
I knew.
The word.
"impatient feelings not answered"
I has understood.
The role.
"It is irritating."
Inside of light and shadow
The fate shakes.

you got down on this. it reminds me of my new stuff without lyrics. what sofware is it and was it done on a Mac? And what kind of bass is that? I love that decayed bass sound, forever. [ Reply to This ]

Hello art-san. Thank you very much for your comment !!
The software that I am using is GarageBand in Mac.
And the bass sound is "Sine bass" in the "Tight Synth Bass". [ Reply to This ]
Welcome, Ysaek! &mdash 07/17/07 - 08:32:57 AM
This is a lovely piece with which to begin your time at MacJams...
It has a groove that I think will be well appreciated by a number of MacJammers... Carried nicely in the bass and drums...
I particularly love the singing. Although I don't speak the language(s), I can appreciate the back-and-forth dialogue of the vocals. The pitch is tight, and the multi-tracking as well...
Tadashi, of course, plays excellent guitar...
That you have produced this as a sixteen year old is stunning...

Hello Ed-san. Thank you very much for your comment !!
English is too difficult for me.
(By the way, I became seventeen years old.)
Tadashi-san's music is wonderful. I always respect it.

I am very glad. I hold out though the song is unskilled.
Tadashi-san's guitar is wonderful. [ Reply to This ]
It might be more pop than fusion... &mdash 07/17/07 - 10:26:27 AM
...but it's one of the best I heard for a while.
Welcome to MacJams, you will make a wonderful addition to the family.
Thank you and Tadashi for this gift. [ Reply to This ]

iG.STUDiO-san,
I'm sorry slowing.
Thank you very much for your comment.
Yes, you are right.
I hesitated in either of the genre.
It was fusion before one is aware.
Thank you for the point. [ Reply to This ]

Welcome to Macjams! Your music is very good. Very good composition, very good singing and mixing. This music reminds me a little bit of the Japanese jazz band "Kaze". But, your music is faster and more energizing. Do you know about "Kaze"? It is a very old jazz group I think.

Thank you very much for your comment.
Sorry, I don't know about "Kaze".
Is it a Japanese jazz group?
However, your Japanese is very good.
Are you Japanese? [ Reply to This ]

Very well produced and the singing was divine.

Excellent &mdash 07/17/07 - 04:45:51 PM
This is a great song. Your vocal arrangement is good, and all the instruments behind it sound fine. Of course we know all about Tadashi's guitar playing, which is excellent as always.
What strikes me most is how sophisticated the arrangement is, especially for someone so young. This is very professional work. The whole thing sounds full, and no part ever gets boring: you always know how to make some variation at the right moment.
A great debut!

What a musical future you have YsaeK &mdash 07/17/07 - 05:16:34 PM
I've listened with interest to your performances on MJ with my friend Tadashi, but never realised you were so young. This song is, as Vic says, very professional, and your voice is sweet, accurate and confident all at once - very easy to listen to and very, very good. This song would appeal to a range of listeners, and I imagine that would include people your own age as well as much older folk like myself. Tadashi's guitar is an important aspect of the performance, but the keys, drums and bass all contribute to the strong backing which drives in a very cool way. Your harmonies and vocals are so accurate and warm, I really look forward to hearing more of your songs.

Hi, Ysaek! &mdash 07/18/07 - 07:30:45 AM
How you're doing, Ysaek?
kipple in GBUC is dodo here in MacJams.
You will notice it, by my avatar.
Very attractive as everybody says.
I think you took time enough to create sounds, I mean how each instrument sounds like.
There you're great.
Some people will find "out of mode melody" in E chord, but that doesn't matter anyway.

Lovely and Refreshing &mdash 07/21/07 - 08:27:14 PM
Before your time, but parts remind me of Sarde and even Swing Out Sister... yet you've got your own niche on that harmonic sound. Lovely, airy harmonies and a good workout on some of those runs by Tadashi.
All in all, a lovely recording.
Welcome to MacJams, YsaeK. ;)

Nice! &mdash 04/14/08 - 04:22:28 PM
Very nice work here Ysaek, I feel that it's more "Ethnic-International" than Jazz Fusion because of the style of music and the language used here. Try to change it if you have the time.
This is an impressive work, I'm 12 years old. Maybe we both are the youngest MacJammers here!!
Thanks a lot for sharing this piece. I enjoyed.
Take Care
