Description
A song I wrote while on business one month before my wedding in 2001. Was actually jotted down walking back to the hotel from my office in Dublin. Forgotten until a few months ago when I discovered a box of old papers. Recorded a quick demo. Thought, I could do something with this. Thew on some loops that made me laugh, so I left them. Added a bassline. Called it "finished enough for now." Another song in my average-one-per-week. More of a story will eventually appear in my blog at http://web.mac.com/reveith/iWeb/Misses_and_Mystery/Home.html

Lyrics
It’s beautiful here.
Actually, it’s been raining.
They tell me that it’s always raining,
but I don’t mind.
I don’t do anything. Every night I’m eating out. I love to charge my expense account and the hotel is fine.
CHORUS But of course, there’s something missing and no, there’s no one I’ve been kissing. Every minute I’m here I find thoughts of you in the back of my mind and I want you to know: I want to make this clear, how I wish you were here.
It’s a bread and circus show. Actually, it’s mostly boring. It’s a job and mostly boring that keeps me from home. (chorus)
