a return visit when I listened to this beautiful rendition. Terriffic singing and emotion. Even though I don't speak French or understand the words there is such an emotion here it's almost spiritual and there is no detraction from the wonderful performance. The production the instruments and of course that wonderful accordian (which I love) make this one of the most enjoyable songs I've heard anywhere. I love it, M [ Reply to This ]

Marc, every element here is just lovely, but your vocal performance is especially terrific, filled with emotion, yet never melodramatic. French is such a beautiful language for singing. I grew up listening to Charles Aznavour, from the time I was a little girl, and have always loved men singing in French.
