Vocal &mdash 07/14/07 - 09:12:59 AM
After a rousing instrumental start this turns out to be an ambitious vocal number. The words in the opening verse and the computer verse have have a tight well executed rhythm. Nice work. "Melt back into the soup in which you came..." Thought provoking lyrics too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the listen. The vox on this track were indeed an experiment. In fact, the whole thing was based on the bass riff--which is entirely different from the way I usually construct tunes--and a trip through Genesis P-Orridge's weblog.

I appreciate the way you keep checking up on my tunes.
It keeps me going.

If you find yourself lacking finesse, a big rock will usually make a sufficient substitute.

Nice doubling on the vocals &mdash 07/15/07 - 09:34:37 AM
I sense a little Throbbing Gristle here - did I just hear a Genesis P.Orridge name check? Excellent open structured track and nice little guitar solo. Cool lyrics.

Oh yes. &mdash 07/16/07 - 12:36:39 PM
I don't know about the T.G. influence in the music, but as I said above, this tune wouldn't exist without Genesis P-Orridge's weblog.

I'm glad it clicks in place.

As with Peace Piano, thanks for the continual check ups, bud. I appreciate it.

Minutemen/firehose &mdash 05/06/08 - 03:39:16 AM
Musically this resembles firehose or the Minutemen (Two of my favorites back in the day)

Love the female spoken word.

Cool stuff.

Thanks for checking into my back-catalog. I had fun mucking around on this track---and this whole EP for that matter! The Minutemen, Fugazi, the Evens, and the like were bands I was eyeball deep into when I recorded all of this. Glad it hits you well.
