Wasn't until I had finished this that I realised that I had taken the advice given from previous postings. Steve (Echoman) suggesting singing an octave higher and Alan (apb) thought it could go big. Thanks to you both.
Also the first show of the Mellotron Plug-in. Anyone who listened to my Crikey Trainers song knows the significance.
Sorry it's a bit long was going to fade but decided I liked the way it ended without. Here goes - gonna click that button.

Should have mentioned in the software above. Tone Heaven Volume 1 sounds plug-in for guitar. Using 'Aint Talkin'' sound. Double tracked just slightly apart.

jeez len, you're voice sounds fookin' great, very nick cave in parts ... i'll take full credit. Love how you sing 'there there', and you really hit the high notes. The production is ace (i recognise the drums ... how geeky is that) and the guitar sounds blunt and brutal.

I love the tempo of this, like the song is drrragging its sorry arse across the floor and into your ears (kinda reminds me of the Birthday party a bit). You're getting better with every song.

Really impressive, the guitar at the end is awesome... this track just blew me away.

you've got the mellotron plug-in, and used to great effect. This is an unusual piece - your vocals are sounding really good - fab guitar work too - I like the panning you've used. This is a song that demands repeat listens to fully appreciate. Nice production overall, although I was getting some clipping here and there (might just be my set-up). Great stuff.

Well written, well performed. The lower end drums (sounds like tympani) seem to be clipping in my phones (but that might just be my phones), causing some loss of clarity overall. Love the mellotron, your voice sounds very good, and the guitar tone is superb. A "best yet" from you I think.

Really like the choir voices after the chorus.
The infectious groove of the drums had my attention from first contact.
Pretty sombre mood, and you now how I only like the happy ones. lol!!

There's that choir again. that's not from gb3 is it? I've wanted to use that sound since Radiohead's "Exit Music (for a film) back in '97, but the choir on both my keyboard and gb sound really cheesy to me. This is not cheesy.
Nice phased out solo. I think you could carry it out another couple seconds after the rest stops then just kind of have it fall apart. However; sometimes it's hard to play sloppy on purpose.
On second thought, the way it ends is pretty cool.

of you to comment Rain. The choir comes from the M-Tron plug-in. The original mellotron was an instrument that actually played taped recordings of real voices/instruments, quite unusual.
