Description
This is a strange little piece. I guess it's a "lullaby" for a very crabby cat I have. She hisses and growls, but underneath is a softy. You'll hear some drum/percussion loops which sound (I hope) like a hissy, ill-tempered cat. The simple high melody that is brought in a couple of times during the piece is meant to symbolize her sweet, kitten-like meow. (Which is rather deceptive, considering her demeanor!)
About half or more of the tracks are loops. I added a simple melody (of sorts) and other tracks with my trusty keystation keyboard.
I'm not sure I'm done with this piece yet--I don't know if it's worth fussing with *too* much, but think it could use a little more work.

Hehehe, cats are delightfully full of personality (good and bad.) I liked this, it had enough variation to keep it interesting throughout... just as I was thinking, "hmm... about those constant bells..." you changed to minor for a moment, then switched to the funny guitar-like bridge, then back. My only critique for this is that there seemed to be a bit too much reverb in this, and it made the bells get a little smeared-together in places, not as clear as it could be... but I enjoyed your melodies, and choices of instrumentation, sweet, with a hint of carnivorous malice here and there... just like a cat. :-) And welcome to Macjams! I think you'll enjoy it here.
