Description:
finally an accordian!

Lyrics:
the sun rises every morning
i hear those feet upon the floor
im pretty sure that you are beside me
everythings the same as it was before
our son jumps in bed and lys between us
holds us together as the light drifts in

you are the flower of my desire
your kisses are like a flood inside
your voice reminds me of no other
ive got nothing left to hide

sometimes it rains so hard between us
i cant see your eyes to tell if you are ok
winters storm it grew within us
spring flowers pushed hard to make there way
i guess ive learned to just admit it
everything changes come what may

so im writing my own story
as i wake each day with you
oh yea, i know im just beginning\
to find my way to being true

Being true &mdash 07/17/07 - 07:49:29 AM
You are great at being true. THis is yet another example. Excellent job. By the way, I love the accordion. I had to play when when I was in Forever Plaid and loved it. They are much heavier than I imagined! I use it on a few tracks in my upcoming album (the ones with a tango feel). It gives your track wonderful substance. I like everything about this track except the very ending, which has a little mistake in the guitar part, unlike the perfect intro, and I thought could have used an even longer fade. I love the straightforward way you write love song lyrics.

Well done &mdash 07/17/07 - 08:23:22 AM
wonderful song - great blend of sounds being used - loved the lyrics & use of the accordian - would have carried over better with a fade out at the end ,but still enjoyed the ride - thanks for sharing.

Blessings,

Very cool &mdash 07/17/07 - 08:08:17 PM
with excellent lyrics, full of moving, evocative images, and great sounds. The guitar work is good, and the accordian sounds great, fitting the song perfectly. The vocal performance is spot on - expressive and real. Nice use of drums, and excellent photograph. Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

and your song has me smiling already! You write such great lyrics - wonderful imagery!!! I'll be dancing through my day to this wonderful music! :-) Your voice is strong and confident on this one. Saved and downloaded before it finished playing! Then listened to it ten more times! :-) Kudos!!!

This almost reminds me a little of &mdash 07/23/07 - 09:21:15 AM
Buddy Holly "Everyday" in the beginning (of course your own style), of course a more raspy-folk feel which seems to be. Like the tex-mex accordion feel. The train chuga feel is nice with the drums and is infectious. Like the ticky-tic of the drums at the beginning and end. That makes for a very nice theme to cap both ends of the tune.

Your singing is very well in tune and the raspy-ness is a nice effect. Of course a part of your wonderful vocal style!

Way to go.

A ballad like vocal performance if you were on the radio here in Tampa it would be the sonic detour show! It would fit right in! Love that allmost country but alternative with enough soul feel this song gives. THe entrance and ending drums are the icing on the cake great song!!!!

Heyman &mdash 07/23/07 - 10:42:34 PM
I love the way the second guitar jumps in in the intro. You got me right there.
Then the lyric hits home for sure.
Then you give this great twist without any clumsiness,
to a spacy spice.
Then back again to that great rhythm guitar, all real playing and singing.
Crear, crisp, right on recording
all 10's
;)

Glad I didn't miss this altogether. This is wonderful. Has kind of a Waterboys "Fisherman's Blues" feel. Love you vocal. The accordian is wonderful. A realy cool bit of tuneage man! Well done!

Take care!
