Description
This is me playing piano, using Akoustic Piano running through GarageBand.
The drums are from Drums on Demand, Jazz/Latin edition.
The bass is GarageBand Upright Jazz Bass.
I use a Yamaha P-120 for my controller.
This is actually an alteration of a project I did for someone. She gave me a lead sheet of a song of 18 bars. And she asked me to make a jazz piano version of it.
So for this version, I altered the melody enough to make it unrecognizeable as the version she sent me. (So she wouldn't say, "How dare you post my song!" Well, now it's MY song!)
I could have played through the same changes, with various kinds of improvisations, to make a three-minute track, but I just was not in love with the chord changes, and thought I would throw in a few of my own, to lengthen the song.
So you'll hear some blues changes, and some assorted jazz changes.
And I think the final result was pretty decent. Hope you all like it!
I've been using Synthogy Ivory for a couple of years, but I just started using Akoustic Piano recently, and for the moment, I think I like Akoustic Piano better than Ivory.
