Description:
This is another composition from my Senior Recital, although this is not the live performance. There were significant errors made during that performance so I decided to post this MIDI performance instead. WARNING: This is not a PRETTY little song! It is dense with discord. It is meant to be that way. Any resemblance to G.H.W. Bush's New World Order is entirely intentional. This piece was written before 9/11/2001 but now has even more import and relevance. It is meant to reflect the anxiety I feel when I hear our 'beloved' leaders speak.Lyrics:

This is only the first movement? The sense of anxiety is palpable. Brass is good at conveying that threatening atmosphere. I'm curious about the rest of the piece. This is a very promising opening.
