Description:
Originally this title was 'The Magicians Guild', but it went through so many different titles, I chose this one - cos it was a long journey to get it! I've been absent from MJ for a long time, and haven't had much of a chance to play with my music either. So here's a little something, which has actually turned out to be one of my longer pieces...heh! One again, this is all loops.

that you are a seamstress - It does not surprise me. Only a qualified seamstress could put together loops so well. Well done.
Cheers

When the last eagle flies over the last crumbling mountain, And the last lion roars at the last dusty fountain, In the shadow of the forest though she may be old and worn, They will stare unbelieving at the last unicorn!

A pretty perfect theme.... &mdash 07/21/07 - 09:16:12 AM
I really enjoyed listening to this piece of music.
It was, to me, gentle, interesting and pleasant.
I can see where this would fit with the relevant piece of film.
Take care.

nice looposity, as usual &mdash 07/21/07 - 10:46:58 AM
very thoughtful blending, nice pacing, none of the audio-stuttering problems like you had on prior pieces, clear orchestration, sounds majestic... so, which of the 4 stones represents the magician's guild? Or is this not part of that play/story? :-)
Congratulations on the new video camera (wink)

Wow! I am so glad I found this! Very nicely done. I'm very impressed that you can do this with loops! I had no idea. You create very rich soundscapes.
A couple of very minor suggestions:
Is there any way that last chord could be drawn out more? It seems to end somewhat abruptly. Also, when the glockenspiel come in the first time, they seem unnaturally loud, although they quickly begin to fade to a quieter dynamic. I'm not sure if that's something that can be changed or not, though.
Wonderful work!

Thanks clark! &mdash 07/23/07 - 10:00:07 AM
I agree about that last note - I'll see what I can do to modify that. I don;t think there's much I can do about the glocks now though.
