This thing has an awesome feel to it!! The 8-beat high hat goes great. The depth is perfect. Felt like something out of the matrix, like a robot anthem or something. Sounds to me like a fusion of dance, trance, and electronica. Great Stuff! awesome. downloadin.

I missed you Carl... and this is why... I wish I could write super-charged stuff that "sucked" this badly! :-) Good strong bassline and tasty synths, nice pacing on the build-ups. Yes, you could add some little embellishments every once in awhile to spice it up even more, but its a good solid track as it is. Hope life is treating you well, and I hope you will treat us with more of your inspirations.

Welcome back Carl!!! Great to see you back here at MJ! Sorry we didnt get a chance to hook-up last week and chat a while like we used to. I miss that. This track doesnt suck at ALL. Great driving beat, awesome bass line and cool little melodies here and there for added excitement. Hmmmm....nice tune to put on when driving that Z4, I would imagine. :-)) Cool tunes to keep the ears happy and cool car to keep the right foot happy. You mentioned that you got rid of your Intel Mac "garbage"...Hahaha. I bought one of the 24" iMacs back in February and havn't had any trouble yet (knock on wood). I keep all of my song data on an external drive, so hopefully if anything horrible happends, I should be ok....I hope. I look forward to hearing more great things come from your camp.. I have a lot of your songs on my iPod that I listen to at work. It makes the day go by much faster! Take good care, Carl! Be well!

Glad to hear you're still writing tunes- I was recently wondering where you'd been. I like the driving feel of this, and I don't know why you think it sucks. I thought this sounds great!

This is SOLID....

Where else do I get my electronic dance fix from? Huh? Huh?

I really love the tone of the deep synth bass, for starters, and then WHAT it's playing is really driving and catchy... I like the dynamics in the synths, and the fades in and out...

You even broke up the chattering high-hat from time to time...

Yeah, you know me... perhaps an overarching melodic element... sure, but you also know that this isn't my genre... I just tend to think melody more than dance groove...

And it could be worse... I could be recommending some banjo, right?

But really, if this is you on an "off" day, I don't think you're realizing what you've got going...
