Description

A little something I wrote and recorded on my own. I don't concider myself a singer or professional musician but some feedback on this would be nice.

I guess you could say the song is about breaking up, leaving all the stress and pressure of modern society behind.

Bra melodi, skulle va bra me battre inspelning
I think the peice has a great melody. And the backup is nice too.

But the recording could of course be better. As it is right now it is hard do hear the lyrics (sounds almost like it is made on the inside of the beer can on your photo, haha :)

The song is good and it is worth a better recording.
You didn't write which recording gear you use ... if it is simple stuff (som typ ett enkelt gammalt kassettdack med inbyggd mik) then it can't be much better than this of course ... but if you have a fairly good mic, (hyfsat bra mik, ingen profsmik men en .. ja enkel hyfsad, 400 kr) then you should be able to get a better recording.

Nice to see more Swedes here!

An old tape from your hippie days?
Someting in this recording makes it feel like an old cassette tape from a couple of decades ago. Maybe it's your picture that makes me think "Flower power!".

This is a good song, and it would be a great recording if you can adjust the balance a little. The guitar part has a good drive and you have a convincing melody.

I have no clue about the lyrics.

	Thanx Thanks a lot for all your comments. Glad you think the song itself is ok. I can see what you mean when it comes to the quality of the recording. I'm just getting started with Cubase and I'm not a producer in any way but I'll do my best and hopefully post a somewhat better version in a few days. Thanks for your thoughts... Hej Lena. Thanx for your much too kind words, you're almost making me blush here, especially with the references to Roffe and Fred, both great musicians so I think that´s a bit of an overstatement, not that I mind...

And no, "We" don't tour. It's just me, a guitar, a bass, a mic and occationly a drummachine in front of the computer in my bedroom. My punk band "Gråsuggorna" (which you also have made a comment to, thanx for that as well) has however played a few gigs. But that's another story (and genre)...

Glad you enjoyed the vocals, that has always been my weakest point in my own opinion.
Just wanted to let you know you made my day with those comments, once again - thanks...

PS. You're not as old as you seem to think, just nine years older than me. Let that go, age is just a state of mind. Enjoy! DS.
