Acoustic jams .. &mdash 07/28/07 - 04:20:06 AM
Acoustic jams are wonders. I love acoustic jams. This reminds me so much of so much. We were young and enthusiastic. So many hours we could be jamming. Missed the whole party and digged into the guitars instead. We were exploring. We were learning (even though we weren't aware that it was learning).
Thank you for posting this! This is living. [ Reply to This ]

yes it is living, an acoustic jam, improv. The place I most like to be with music. Cori, I am very impressed with your playing, you are really incredible. I am amazed by your sophisticated technique, your rythmic sense and great deal of soul all together.

I am so happy to hear this from you, as I love your music so much. Rumba is a wonderful form, I would love to hear what you do with it. Yes congas are very typical of this form, I love them very much, garage band has several conga loops, I chose this one.

Love the added congas &mdash 07/28/07 - 10:00:03 AM
Such a nice rhythm and guitar tone... I love the improvs in here. It reminds me of street musicians who are really good and who cares where I was going- I need to stay and listen to the whole song. Your pieces are like that. OK, I'm going to go put a rose in my hair now. [ Reply to This ]
Thank you Roxy,... &mdash 07/29/07 - 02:34:21 AM
I do have a street musician approach, often. New York, ofcourse is the place for that, the saxaphone players who play to a boom box in greenwhich village. I love it!!! Ofcourse there are many fine street musicians in Spain as well. Incredible accordian players, and galic (from galicia of northwest spain, a sort of celtic sound) musicians.

I am happiest with this too, I was expressing what I most desire to hear, it was a place in my heart for that moment, it still reaches me. I think art can be like a mirror!!!

Music to sip Margaritas by! Ha ha...
Amazingly...you have topped your last submission which I thought was your best to date. This really ups the ante Ian. A wonderful jam over just the right choice of percussion. It may sound a little odd to put it this way...but...this ROCKS!!!
Be well! [ Reply to This ]
