Hi Steve A few things jump out at me right away... you are a natural singer... the melody tells the story along with the wonderful emotion that you seem to effortlessly pull out of your voice... those disonent moments in the string arrangement provide a tension for those moments... but I wish I had the lyric for the full effect... no big deal... it's not like I can't understand the words... excellent work my friend Check out my latest song called Dogwood

Like that singing, especially the tremolo in then vocal cords. The guitar make a terrific backround. I like how you go back to the past and REALLY bring out a very special place in time! Lots of people when they write can loose the interest in the audience. But that is a special gift to obtain the audience's attention and you do that nicely.
