thanks thanks, man. gosh. i will take your advice to heart. this is a rough mix simply done on my macbook. a friend has a studio, and a much better ear and technique. I'll show him your thoughts. kent --- I wrote a song for a kids camp and they liked it, they really liked it...I decided to write more. Check out my latest song called He Walks With Me

You must be one cool pastor - I like the mixing of very modern rock sensibilities along with the lyrics to "Amazing Grace." Who hasn't dealt with the attack of temptation? This song has rock inherently built into it, which is simply begging for some fills on the drum loop, something to change things up a little. Also, you've got a great voice - so the plate you're using is a little harsh for the atmosphere you've set up. Guitar and drums are both very up front, so it sounds odd to have your voice set back with the effect. With just a little arrangement and some harmonies, this could be a real burner, but it works nicely as-is. Wish my pastor was this hip!
