See, a person COULD think that you love MacJams 'cause of the amazing musical talent 'round here, but I think this is the most concentrated collection of people-who-get-Spinal-Tap-references to be found anywhere on Earth...
Although even the Tap couldn't match those chord voicings....

Sure-But you might want to steal from some of the people that I stole from for instance check out Wes Montgomery's solo on "No Blues" from the Album "Smokin' At The Half Note".

Ibstrat, what a joy to listen to your chord melodies! And the sound you get with your strat is so fine. What pickups do you have in there? Are you playing with just the neck PU? And what setup are you recording with?

Yea,it's just the neck pickup on this song-it's a Seymor Duncan humbucker I think.I am recording thru a Line6 Tone port
on live 4.1.5.

Since I am pretty much an idiot when it comes to recording,I couldn't put on a backing band if i wanted to!
Remember to snap your fingers on 2 and 4 for the true beatnik effect.(Don't for get to tilt your head sideways and say "yea")

Ibstrat, this is a wonderful track. I can hear Chet Atkins saying, "Attaboy!" Wonderful intonation, technique, and feel. Sounds like you've been friends with the guitar for many years.
I didn't get the Spinal Tap reference at first, but now that you've explained it, about your album being mythical, now I get it! I think I need to watch that movie about four more times to get all the jokes.
My favorite part of that movie is when the band hears one of their old hits on the radio, and they are all fired up because they think they're getting popular again, and then the DJ says, "Spinal Tap -- where are they now?"

Yes it's an old Ibanez "lawsuit" Strat.I have a bizarre problem with my left hand which causes weird pain... for some reason this is the only guitar I can play with little pain.
