Thanks Gail..... &mdash 08/01/07 - 01:15:34 PM
I'm happy that someone appreciates some of the stuff I put on here.
I don't like limits, with anything, so I'm always pushing for something a little bit different or new.
I plan to record some of my many classical piano pieces at some stage during the next year or so, so hopefully you may hear what I class as real-me music, not experiments and procrastinations/hand-wringings.
Take care.

Thanks for stopping by.... &mdash 08/01/07 - 01:21:59 PM
My original working title was 'Tripping' but somehow I didn't like the Rhodes piano sound that I was trying to mix/meld in, so I left the drums/bass and played with synths, for a hoe-down-type electronica sound.
I enjoy this type of rhythm as it's almost (in places) electronic Celtic or fiddle music, to me. There's so much room for experiment and variations that there may be a couple more of this type of tune added later this lifetime.
Take care and thanks for the forum favour, a couple of weeks ago. I often parachute in without checking if the parachute is on my back.
I baldly/boldly go........

you made a funny! &mdash 08/01/07 - 09:50:12 PM
Baldly go... FUNNY!
And, no thanks necessary. I've 'forumed' enough here to know how things can be misconstrued rather quickly. I just jumped in before it could happen.
I have to sit down and give your blog a read. At first glance, I was quite intrigued. You're a fantastic writer, amongst your other talents!

My blog???? &mdash 08/02/07 - 12:21:15 AM
I had forgotten about this particular blog. I have around half a dozen, all angled/geared differently, and each with an alter-ego-persona, and all ignored/forgotten/neglected for ages.
I love language, words and meaning, real or imagined, and wonder at the way any two people (mis)understand the exact same sentence so differently, and probably both are not on exactly the same wavelength as the conveyor-of-words was when they typed the sentences.
Take care (I don't mean steal anything).
