Description:
My second entry into Analogapalooza.

Electrofriend by Telephone Booth 1999.

These recordings were from the songwriting stage of the band. Once we wrote and recorded the songs, we practiced them and performed them locally.

The only bad thing about songs averaging 1:40 seconds each is that you either have extremely short sets or you have to play 30 songs per set!

Pictured is Giancarlo Rendina. He's my favorite singer song writer ever.

I called him Pik.

surreal lyrics and minimal production with excellent vocals (reminded a little of early Jane's Addiction). Doesn't get much better. I like this band.

lyric and vibe,, really got that garageband (not the mac programme) feel....would love to see this recorded nicely... althought the rough recording does definitely have its own appeal

We had so much fun writing these Telephone Booth songs. Pik has the most amazing ability to write lyrics and I always loved his singing. We just clicked from day one of recording.

Your soundscape is really original and has a brutal edge to it's sweetness. A very well balanced effort.

Lyrics are superb.

Android reasoning, bed sheet asphyxia and transparent guts. Brilliant.
