Description:
After a long hiatus, Leon and I have once again collaborated on a song together. Leon is always a joy to work with and I recommend him to anyone. As for the song itself; it was an older song I had written about a year ago but I was never truly satisfied with it and decided to do an updated version with a different arrangement. The song is pretty self-explanatory. It's about a guy who can't stop thinking about this girl, a girl he may or may not have met yet...the girl of his dreams.

I've never heard Leon sing before, he has an amazing voice and this song is such a great vehicle to show what he's capable of. Not really my kind of music but this has undeniable power and the production is strong.

I'm embarassed to say I haven't heard any of Bran's stuff yet. Really remarkable musicianship, coupled with Leon's ALWAYS goosebump-inducing vocals. (He already knows what a fan of his I am!) But this is a really great pairing. Hard to hear where one of you begins and the other ends... a strange analogy, but true. Leon, your voice just sparkles. This is my favorite track you've sung on, Leon. I dig the piano work, the clear arrangement, and balanced mix, the tasteful backing vocals, the fine mainstream writing. The highlight is the emotional lead vocal, with anthem power and personality. Really good track. [ Reply to This ]

Good. A wonderful song that wouldn't be out of place in any film or musical and Leon's singing is terrific. What a vocal range you've got Leon and great expression too. Beautiful clarity. The vocals are so great it is almost possible to miss the well mixed instrumental accompaniment. I love the dynamic range of this piece, from the full vocal and orchestra to the solo piano. Great song!

We both weren''t so sure about the outcome until we read all these kind words from you all. You have just inspired us to keep making more good music.
I still have a few more collabs on my plate to finish (Craft, sorry for the rap song delay... I'm getting there ;-), but right now I'm on vacation far away from Minnesota. Reading all these comments make me smile more while I am enjoying some free time away from studies and work.

The two of you have combined to produce a very powerful production.
The orchestration is spot-on for this piece and Leon's emotional and soaring vocals gives it the quality that Leon has in spades... Passion.
I've been a fan of Leon's vocal talent for quite awhile and now thanks to this collaboration, I'm aware of BrandDaMan's talents, as well.

that harmonics. Then it gets real interesting with the start of the words:
I'm dreaming, lots of power mucically. Then the beat, nice addition with the rock feel. The harmonics really add to that rock start. This is has a nice rock feel. The singing is quite striking especially as the song goes along. Love the added strings towards 3/4 of the way. This is one of the best rock songs i"ve heard here with the addes strings. The singing is something you should be quite proud of.
The whole tunes comes together quite nicely. So glad I had enough sense to stop by!

The two of you work so well together, Bran. Your melodies are big and heartfelt, and really suit Leons style of vocal ... widescreen, dramatic, passionate. I repeat myself, but this is what real 'pop' music should be, not the fake emotion sing by so many wannabes who don't get that pop should communicate ideas and feelings ... you have to understand the lyric to get it across.
Great vocals, and I love the strings backing this - absolutely spot on.
I bet Leon has no problem with the Ladies!
