Kirsty is good Too bad you were outvoted... I would have played in a band with her singing, it sounds really good. This is a decent recording for the technology. I like your overdubbed/weird vox too, and the energy of the song when it kicks into overdrive. Check out my latest song called Machine Man (w Beastie Boys)

Cool energetic song .. like the guitar work in this- those backing vocals give a touch of Sisters of Mercy .. and Kirsty sounds like a Shania Twain .. awesome live jam/performance. Darn that democracy steck .. now if I was still in the band, you could've counted on my vote :o) I agree with pv you got a great capture hear with just 4 mics, you were always good at that. Check out my latest song called Misplaced

The search for Kirsty Hi Ceilidh, We did indeed try to track her down a couple of years ago but this failed. When we recorded her, she worked in a Chippy somewhere in Lothian. Whilst her buddy who was the guy that we were auditioning was average, she was truly excellent. Since my guitarist "Flatch" is aware (and thilled) that I'm uploading onto MJ, we might be forced back into action after a premature folding in 2001 after a really good set of gigs at King Tut's. For now, I'm just glad we have an xlnt platform to release a lot of this previously not widely heard material. Check out my latest song called Fire In The Sky

After I stepped back from lead vocals we spent two years auditioning vocalists. We auditioned one guy who brought along "Kirsty" with him. She was simply brilliant. This recording is from her second audition.
I was outvoted (aarrgg) on her potential and we lost contact with her.
A VS880 can only cope with 4mics so with one on vocals, two on drums and one on guitar, this recording is a tad rustic but also full of energy.
I overdubbed the backing vocals, keys and cut 'n pasted some of the lead vocals towards the end.
Whilst the overall result is *messy* here and there and we lost contact with Kirsty, this was certainly her "Hit Song".
